The AirTremTrashStortion is the AirTrash and the TremStortion in one enclosure and it's surprisingly cool. I really dig the sound of the AirTrash into the TremStortion gain circuit and having a full fledged clean or distorted tremolo after the AirTrash is a lot of fun as well. The AirTrash is soft-touch relay true bypass and the TremStortion is hardwire true bypass, and they can be turned on individually. There is one input and one output and one DC power jack.
The TremStortion is a full-featured analog optical tremolo pedal capable of producing anything from pristine clean to fully distorted tremolo sounds and everything in between.
8 waveforms (ramp up, ramp down, square, triangle, sine, sweep, random pulse, and random slopes)
Controls for rate, depth, waveform, output, and gain along with a 3 position toggle allowing you to choose to have the tremolo pre-gain, post-gain, or the mystery inversion option (center position).
Onboard tap-tempo
The AirTrash is a pedal for guitar or bass that sounds like absolute garbage. I was breadboarding an idea and happened upon some absolutely sickening sounds, like really bad, but couldn’t stop playing it. I spent a lot of time trying to refine and improve it, make it less noisy, more controllable etc.. but these changes always ended up sucking the fun right out of it so decided let it be the simple disgusting beast that it is.
It “works well” with guitar or bass and usually sounds best with the guitar or bass plugged straight into it (first in the pedal chain), didn’t do much for me at all on synths or drum machines. It’s very sensitive to pick attack and input volume.
The blue knob controls the output level. I could not come up with words to properly describe what the red and yellow knobs do so I created those little icons in an attempt to illustrate what words could not describe.
